What is a Chapter ?
Chapters are AABMF's "geographic presence" across the United States and around The world, serving as a local base for The Foundation and conducting outreach on behalf of AABMF's causes. Responsibilities include: coordinating all aspects of drives including researching and setting up testing sites and working with other volunteers, answering E mail and phone calls, working with other NMDP donor centers/Minority Recruitment groups in executing cross marketing efforts. Chapters are also encouraged to enroll volunteers to execute all activities in their states. The chapters play an extremely critical role in expanding the support base outside of its official presence in Springfield, IL. And Paramus NJ. If you are interested to establish a local chapter in your area, Pl. contact Mr. Kiran Desai, President, at 217-899-3110 or E mail: kirandesai51@hotmail.com or Mr. Jasvant Shah, Project development, chairperson, at 201-670- 8451 and E mail: jk402004@yahoo.com
